The Beauty Edit Inspired By...Red

We’re sure you already know that the official colour of of Autumn/Winter 2017 is red – hard to miss when it has been broadcasted everywhere across the fashion sphere. We also know that you’re already well-versed in the reds that suit your lips, and have stocked up on more than enough to last you through the grey British winter.

However, what you may not know is that one trend followers’s love for red simply cannot end there. There are still so many bases to be covered. Just think – body oils! Cream blushers! Hair dye! The possibilities are endless, and trust us, we know: we’ve all but spent the past week trawling the internet for anything rouge and beauty, in hopes of satiating our blood redlust. Read on for the best of our findings (and some Christmas gift inspiration)…

Lola’s Apothecary Body & Massage Oil in Delicate Romance

‘Tis the season to start caring more for our bodies, as temperatures drop and freezing winds bring winter to our doorstep. Indoors, radiators are wreaking havoc as they dry the air around us and draw moisture out of our skin. Body oils pose the perfect answer to this, as oils are extremely hydrating and help strengthen the skin’s natural lipid barrier. Lola’s Apothecary is a firm favourite amongst beauty editors, so we couldn’t help but throw this in just for its rosehip-based body oil.

The perfect gift for any lipstick lover. Kjaer Weis presents a staple duo: The Red and The Nude. Since we’re in love with rouges right now, the star of the show here is KW Red – a classic sports-car crimson. But if it insists the company of a delicious shade like Brilliant (nude with a hint of peach), we’d be more than happy to oblige…

Konjac Sponge Co’s pore refiners are an effective and eco-friendly choice for the job, made of 100% vegetable fibres and super soft on the skin. They’ve just released  an adorable Rudolph edition too (potential stocking filler, perhaps?).
